To provide a comprehensive school management experience, we collect:
Account Data: Names, mobile numbers, and email addresses provided during school onboarding.
Real-time Location Data: For the Acadix Track application, we collect precise location data from drivers' devices to enable real-time bus tracking. This includes access to background location to ensure that tracking remains active and accurate for parents and administrators even when the app is minimized or the screen is off.
Student Records: Attendance, grades, examination results, and profiles managed by the respective educational institution.
Media & Documents: Photos or documents uploaded by school admins for student ID cards or record-keeping (using camera/storage permissions).
Usage Data: Device information and IP addresses to ensure secure login and optimize app performance.
We use the collected data strictly for educational and administrative purposes:
• Safety & Tracking: Location data is used exclusively to display the live position of the school bus, calculate ETA, and monitor vehicle speed for student safety.
• To facilitate real-time updates on student performance and attendance.
• To manage school administrative tasks and generate reports.
• To provide technical support and ensure the security of the Acadix ecosystem.
• Note: We do not use student or location data for advertising or marketing purposes.
No Data Sale: We do not sell or rent your personal, location, or institutional data to third parties.
Trusted Infrastructure: Data is stored on secure servers with AES-256 encryption and robust access controls.
Institutional Control: The school/institution remains the primary owner of the student data they input. We act as a service provider under their direction.
Acadix is designed for educational use. We do not knowingly collect data from students under the age of 13 without the verified consent of the school or parent/guardian. Schools are responsible for obtaining necessary parental consent before enrolling students on the platform.
Users have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal information.
Account Deletion: Users can request account and data deletion through the 'Delete Account' option by contacting their school administrator.
Direct Request: You can also email us at support@acadix.co.in. We will process data deletion requests within 30 days, subject to institutional record-keeping requirements.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, users are responsible for:
• Signing off after using the portal on shared devices.
• Choosing a robust password to prevent unauthorized access.
We may update this policy as Acadix evolves. Any significant changes will be notified via our website or app notifications.
